Tango: It is one of the basic styles of the flamenco. Today, the different modalities can be distinguished by the origin, Cádiz, Sevilla, Jerez de la Frontera or Málaga. They sometimes present certain structural differences and other times, different ways of performing, but almost always they demonstrate that it is a cante to dance and is a cante of typical Andalucian nature. The rhythm of the styles is very lively and accented. Its cheerful rhythm and moderate compás permit it to be danceable by provoking movements of great brilliance and expressiveness.
Tanguillo: It is a cante genuinely from Cádiz, so commonly, it is known as Tanguillo de Cádiz, and its lyrics are humorous, ironic and satirical, but always festive and is a cante of trivial fun. The baile is with very rhythmic movements, paseos (walking steps), Punteado and pasadas (passing steps).
Taranta: It belongs to the group of "cante de las minas". Origin of this cante is some Fandango of Almería. The lyrics are descriptive and it is inspired by the human existence. It is long, hard, sober and virile cante. In general, it is not danceable.
Taranto: A cante very similar to Taranta. Among the minero styles, it is the only one that subjects to a certain compás. This fact permits the Taranto to be danceable with a very similar rhythm to Zambra.
Tientos: It is a recent cante. Its information dates the beginning of the 20th century, at least after the Tango where the Tiento comes from. It has the same compás as Tango even though it is slower, more solemn and more complicated. It is a danceable cante with the lyrics which are normally moving, sentimental and sententious. The baile is majestic, sober and is a baile of a great dramatic harmonization with accented ritual atmosphere.
