
Miguel Poveda on the 15th of September and Paco de Lucía on the 9th of October. These are the 2 artists who will be in charge of opening and closing the future XVI Bienal of Sevilla.
The program has been presented in the city hall of Sevilla. During the 25 days of festival, the aficionados will enjoy 55 works, represented in 65 performances. 26 of them will be premieres.
With the theme "Flamenco de viva voz", the Bienal present 6 series which will pick up the best of the current flamenco. "Al son de las estrellas (to the rhythm/sound of the stars)" to enjoy the traditional flamenco in the Hotel Triana, "Flamenco para niños (Flamenco for kids)", "El flamenco que viene ( the coming up flamenco )" as a presentation of the young talents, "Clásicos del siglo XXI ( the masterpieces of the 21st century)", "Flamenco y otras aves (Flamenco and other music)" as an encounter of the flamenco and other music and categories, and "Lo jondo del futuro ( the jondo ( flamenco ) of the future)" where important artists of the cante will perform.

Also, in FNAC, you can buy tickets for the concerts in Auditorio Rocio Jurado, and from the 1st of September, the tickets will be on sale in the Theatro de la Maestranza. If you buy your tickets before the 15th of June, you will receive 10% discount, and from the 15th of June until the 31st of July, 5% discount. There are discounts for groups and a limited number of tickets with 15% of discounts for the holders of Euro<26, European Youth Card.
