June the 5th, they will hold the final of the Contest Youth of Flamenco in the Teatro Villamarta (Jerez), where 24 young people will participate in the semi finals.
Regarding the judges of the final, the director of the Andalucian Agency for the Development of the Flamenco, Francisco Perujo, told us that the judges will be artists like the cantaor "Fosforito", the cantaora Carmen Linares and the guitarist Paco Cepero. Also he expressed his wish that the bailaora Matilde Coral will be part of the judges.
The «special feature» of this final is that they cannot repeat any palos ( styles of flamenco ) which have been performed in the semi finals. The winners of the contest will perform in a show programmed in the Bienal Flamenco of Sevilla in this autumn.
