The art of Eva Yerbabuena is at the highest moment, not only as baile flamenco but also as a Spanish dance. The 2 prizes of Max of the Scenic Arts, for the best show and for the best female performer of dance, which she has just received, testify it. She only missed the prize for the best choreography, which went to Sol Picó.
These awards recognize the value of the last production of Eva to date, "Lluvia"(2009). The bailaora received prize of Max in 2005 for "A cal y canto" y in 2006 for "A cuatro voces" as well.
The gala of the Max, which was hold on May 3rd in the National Museum Center of Art Reina Sofia in Madrid, also prized Antonio Najarro as the best male performer of dance. Najarro prevailed in this category against the bailaores Manuel Liñan and Daniel Doña.
The prizes of Max have been given since 1998 and they are organized by the General Society of Authors and Editors (SGAE) and its Author Foundation. They count on the sponsorship of the National Institute of Scenic Arts (INAEM) and the support of the National Museum of Center of Art Reina Sofia.
