This week, the only fashion show of Flamenco fashion in the world will be held in El Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos de Sevilla, FIBES.
Just like every year, the large companies and designers are ready to present their collections, which will be seen in the Feria de Abril of Sevilla and in many other Ferias. Also, this event, the Salón Internacional de Moda Flamenca (International Exhibition of Flamenco Fashion), SIMOF, will be the largest meeting spot for designers, models, professionals and businessmen of the craftworks and flamenco fashion.
FIBES and Doble Erre organize the 16th SIMOF from January the 28th to the 31st in the Pabellon 1 of the aforementioned establishment. This event is already consolidated and it continues with the development of this very outstanding field, flamenco fashion. Small, medium and large companies participate in this event, and most of them are from the region of Andalucia.
The task of SIMOF is to encourage and develop the field of flamenco fashion and the textil industry that is behind it. This year, more than 90 companies will exhibit their products there; there will be 27 fashion shows with 31 designers / companies in total, plus, contest of novel designers. They will show more than 1200 dresses of flamenca on the catwalk.
We, Molina Moda Flamenca, will participate in the fashion show on Saturday the 30th to present our new collection "Molina 2010".
Visiting hours of SIMOF will be from 11.00 to 22.00 without interruption. The entrance fee is 6 euros per person to visit the exhibition area, plus 9 euros per person for each fashion show. For the groups of more than 20 people, the entrance fee will be 5 euros each. The children under the age of 7 can enter for free.
