Cafés cantante was a typical place of leisure time where, apart from serving drinks, they also offered flamenco cante, baile and guitar shows. These places had their peak from the middle of the 19th century to the beginning of the second decade of the 20th. The cafés cantantes usually had the same decorative style: A large hall with tables, the walls were decorated with mirrors and bull fighting posters, at the back of the room, there was a stage where the artists offered their performances.
