Flamenco-inspired folkloric cante, which has almost disappeared today. Its cadence and melodic tone seem to show certain connection with the Andalucian popular folk songs, even though the migrating gypsies adapted it later to the expressive tone of their wandering. Musically speaking, in its Flamenco version, it presents affinity with Tiento because of a monotone compás and a certain oriental resonance.
