It is one of the basic styles of the flamenco. Today, the different modalities can be distinguished by the origin, Cádiz, Sevilla, Jerez de la Frontera or Málaga. They sometimes present certain structural differences and other times, different ways of performing, but almost always they demonstrate that it is a cante to dance and is a cante of typical Andalucian nature. The rhythm of the styles is very lively and accented. Its cheerful rhythm and moderate compás permit it to be danceable by provoking movements of great brilliance and expressiveness.
